Why on earth would some folks call the Aquasana Water Filters a scam? Trust me you can't get a bad water filtration device certified in California! I guess some folks just love trashing perfectly good products online.
I've been using Aquasana's products for many years and they do a great job at getting contaminants out of my tap water.

Aquasana water filter systems use cartridges made of extruded coconut shell carbon, one of which, the b cartridge (used in the countertop and under sink model) is impregnated with ATS ion-exchange sorbent resin. Both the a-cartridge and the b-cartridge are 5 microns absolute.
